What would be the highest spike dmg from a hammer warrior?
Ive heard that most people think symbolic strike is crap
ive played with a Forceful Blow + Fierce Blow + KD + Deep Wound + Holy strike
but i know there must be somthing better
thanks!

Hammers don't do spiking that would be axe Executioners Strike and Eviscerete.Swords do pressure damage.Hammers are for weakening and KD.

by spike damage im guessing you mean the most damage in the shortest / smallest amount of time.
I would guess that Devastating Hammer + Aftershock would be a good spike.
This isn't the answer you are looking for if you want a skilbar thatll have a super high output of damage. in fact you are playing the wrong class if that's what you are looking to do. i think an assassin is what you are looking to play.
your combo is not a spike. maybe you are looking for a combination of skills that has a high damage output (once again go assassin).

Contrary to what Age says, hammers DO do spiking.
In fact, they can pull off the actual spike just as quickly as axes.
Set up your spike with a knockdown, preferably [skill=text]Backbreaker[/skill] or [skill=text]Devastating Hammer[/skill], then [skill=text]Crushing Blow[/skill] for an almost exact duplicate of [skill=text]Eviscerate[/skill], followed up by the all-important quick attack for activation of the spike, [skill=text]Belly Smash[/skill]. While under an IAS stance, Belly Smash activates at least as quickly as Executioner's Strike, if not quicker.
Those last 2 skills are the spike itself, and take no longer to activate than the Eviscerate/Executioner's combo.
If your enemy's at 50% health or below when you start the spike, and is not a boss, you're pretty much guaranteed a kill by the end of the spike.
Yes, there's no additional damage from Belly Smash, but the whole point of a deep wound spike is that the deep wound itself is the spike. If you can dig it up, a few months ago we had an in-depth discussion of how deep wounds worked, and the actual damage of the attack following the deep wound is almost inconsequential; the important part is the speed of that attack. Your post deep wound attack may only do 3 damage, but you'll still see a massive chunk of the target's health bar disappear.

Why use belly smash with a 1 second cast when you could use protectors with a 1/2 second ( I think ) cast, and it would have use against kiters.
Yes hammer can spike, although in most cases it just more of a combo than a spike:
[skill]Forceful Blow[/skill] [skill]Heavy Blow[/skill] [skill]Crushing Blow[/skill] [skill]Protector's Strike[/skill]
Thats quite a condensed combo, that would work quite well, make sure to be under IAS.
+42, +32, +21, +100ish (DW), added to 4 hammer attack damages which are pretty high too.

Because as a side-effect, Belly Smash also acts as a nice impromptu defense thanks to the 10 second AoE blind
But yeah, any of the 1/2 second attacks are effective.

I'm really surprised Leprechaun; I would have thought that someone like you who loves builds that stray from the mainstream would have been all over Belly Smash.
I see you're still playing around with "Lose All Adrenaline" skills too.
You're utterly barmy, and I heartily commend you for it
That PvP build you posted once that focuses on Steady Stance and Drunken/Desperate blow +Hammer Bash is still one of my favourites for PvP warriors.

Lol that ws not my build ^^, never actually played SS builds, not my thing. But I'll take the complement anyway, thanks.
Yeah you have to stray from the mainstream when you change your build about 5 times every time you play, I rarely use the same build for 2 days straight.

belly smash's recharge makes it unwanted. I tried some weird build with it, I was waiting for it to recharge about 9/10 times.
